3/6/2018 (date format will be DD/MM/YYYY) I don't remember catching this ant but i was just cleaning up my room when all of a sudden i see movement in the corner of my eye - woah! my eyes dart over to my ant setup and it's a miracle. i thought all of my colonies died out, but there was a queen! she now has a batch of eggs, no larvae, no pupae or workers, but a queen ant to support. I placed her in a nice corner inside her cold thest tube. now her tube is around 20 degrees celsius and in a dark area - hopefully these conditions will support her colony to become an empire. i don't know what species this ant is - but i'm suspicious this ant is a camponotus could anyone please give me advice? - mostly black ant
- large gaster
